JANET GEIPEL

I am a Senior Lecturer (tenured Assistant Professor; Research & Education) at the University of Exeter Business School in the Sub-Department of Business Strategy & Marketing and an affiliated researcher in the Multilingualism and Decision Making Lab at the University of Chicago directed by Dr. Boaz Keysar.

My research focuses on experimentally testing how different aspects of language use influence thinking, decision-making and behavior in areas such as health, sustainability and ethicality.

​My research has been published in journals including Nature Sustainability, Journal of International Business Studies (ABS4*), Cognition (ABS4), Journal of Experimental Social Psychology (ABS4), Journal of Experimental Psychology: Applied (ABS4), Risk Analysis (ABS4), and Journal of Experimental Psychology: General (ABS4).
